During winter, take steps to protect your fountain. If possible, store it indoors. If left outside, remove pumps and small components, cover with burlap and dark plastic, and raise the base off the ground. Regularly check for water accumulation and ensure the cover is secure. Before the first freeze, drain, dry, and cover the fountain.
